Dr. Andrew Huberman

Professor of Neurobiology and of Ophthalmology, Stanford University School of Medicine
Co-founder, StateLLC

Dr. Andrew Huberman, Ph.D. is a Professor of Neurobiology and of Ophthalmology at Stanford University School of Medicine. As Co-Founder of StateLLC, Andrew plays a pivotal role in the development and testing of science-based breathing and vision protocols that optimize physical, emotional and cognitive performance and health.

Joey Dosik

singer / songwriter / multi-instrumentalist / producer

Armed with a voice that surprises most listeners, Joey Dosik is a singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist from the rich music community of Los Angeles. Dosik is inspired by classic songwriting and soulful singing, and has put his own modern take on these traditions. His debut release, Game Winner EP, is a nostalgic dreamscape of inspirational songs and musings on love.

Dr. Ann Mosle

Anne Mosle is a vice president at the Aspen Institute and executive director of Ascend at the Aspen Institute. She is a leading thinker, advocate, and voice in building pathways to opportunity for low-income families and women. With more than 20 years’ experience in policy and philanthropy, Anne has been recognized as Washingtonian of the Year, Ms. Magazine Woman to Watch, and as Visionary Philanthropist. She is also an author of The Shriver Report: A Woman’s Nation Pushes Back from the Brink. In her current role at the Aspen Institute, she directs Ascend, the national hub for breakthrough ideas and collaborations that move vulnerable children and their parents towards educational success and economic security.

Dr. Maytha Alhassen

Ph.D. Journalist, Historian & Spiritualista

Maytha Alhassen is a University of Southern California provost Ph.D. fellow in American studies and ethnicity. Her work in and outside academia bridges the worlds of social justice, academic research, and artistic expression. In 2007, an unexpected foray into hosting and broadcast journalism began with the Arab American TV variety show *What’s Happening.* For the past five years, she has been a guest co-host and digital producer on Al Jazeera English’s social-media–focused program *The Stream,* and has appeared or written for various major media outlets and academic journals. In 2012, Alhassen co-edited, with journalist Ahmed Shihab-Eldin, *Demanding Dignity: Young Voices from the Front Lines of the Arab Revolutions.*

David Wilkinson

Former Director of the White House Office of Social Innovation and Civic Participation

David Wilkinson is the Commissioner of the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood. This cabinet-level state agency pioneers a family-centered, results-driven approach to support young children and families, particularly those who are overburdened and underserved. Integrating major early childhood programming formerly administered by five separate state agencies, OEC serves over 50,000 children each year through programs including child care, pre-K, home visiting, safety assurance, early intervention programming and parenting supports.
Commissioner Wilkinson is the former Director of the White House Office of Social Innovation and Civic Participation. He led efforts in the Obama White House to identify and scale more effective social solutions, advancing priorities to strengthen communities and enable upward economic mobility.

Karden Rabin

Karden Rabin, LMT, CMT is the co-creator of Beyond Alignment™ and founder of Boundless: Integrative Wellness Center. Karden has over a decade of experience teaching yogis and movement practitioners of all backgrounds how to deepen and refine the relationship between their mind and body, resulting in lifelong transformations of their wellbeing. Karden’s teachings weave together the perspectives of bodywork, movement, anatomy and psychology. In addition to teaching, he is a master bodyworker and functional movement specialist and integrates the two into a unique treatment system called Movenomics™. As a teacher, his goal is that every student walks away from his workshops with a new perspective on their wellbeing and the ability to implement it in their lives, on and off the mat.

Lisa De Narvaez

Lisa is a seasoned breathwork facilitator, NYU-certified coach and human design specialist. Her experiential style, combining decades of global travel driven by continued studies and a deepening of her own personal understanding of evolutionary systems, have manifested into the creation of BLISSPOINT BREATHWORK.

Jesse Barber

Chef

Straight out of culinary school, Jesse Barber completed an externship at the French Laundry and Bouchon Bistro in Napa, California, where he refined his French techniques and experienced the intensity and discipline required to run a restaurant. Jesse was the chef de cuisine at Marché in Eugene, Oregon and worked with the acclaimed Bruce Carey Restaurant Group in Portland. He moved to Los Angeles and became the chef de cuisine at the Tasting Kitchen, named one of *GQ*’s Best New Restaurants in 2010. He curated the culinary program for Summit Eden, hosted a series of pop-up dinners around Los Angeles, and was the chef of Barnyard. With Jesse’s classical French training, experience in Italian kitchens, and love of Japanese cuisine, he has found a unique, clear voice. He opened Dudley Market in 2015 to give the Venice neighborhood of Los Angeles an elevated version of the neighborhood bistro. It received rave reviews from critics and customers for its approach to everyday luxury and its contemporary approach to fine dining.

He writes to entertain, inspire, and challenge his audiences to look deeper into the human experience and ask questions about themselves, their environment, and the world at large.

Spinning sets that range from deep house and techno to old skool hip hop, pop and rock, Henri keeps heartbeats racing and bodies bustling, leaving her audience captivated and hungry for more.

Baelyn Elspeth

Baelyn Elspeth grew up in Los Angeles studying dance from the time she was 4. This affinity with movement provided a doorway into her relationship with spirit, health and the body. She has since journeyed into deeper connections with Self through studying Yoga, Tea and Meditation. She is under the lineage and instruction of the Tea Sage Hut Center in Taiwan and works with Tea as a daily practice to cultivate stillness and presence. Over the years, her path has evolved toward deepening her relationship to Mother Earth and the Sacred Feminine. Holding space with song and rhythm have also become key elements in her offerings. Whether serving traditional Tea Ceremonies, or holding ritual space through sound and drum, for her, all these paths are ways of being a vessel for spirit and consciousness. Currently Baelyn travels and devotes her time toward sharing and facilitating sacred spaces for communities all around the world.

Shannon Bahrke

Shannon Bahrke was born and raised in Lake Tahoe, CA and moved to Salt Lake City, UT in 1998 to pursue her dreams of making the U.S. Ski Team and ultimately compete for the USA at the Winter Olympic Games. She made the U.S. Ski Team that very same year and had continued success for the next twelve years. She competed on 6 World Championship Teams, 3 Olympic Teams, brought home 2 Olympic Medals, 7 World Cup Wins, 1 Overall World Cup Title and 6 National Titles. Since her retirement in 2010 she and her husband, Matt, started up and in 2013 sold their first company, Silver Bean Coffee. She now has her plate full again with a 4 year old little girl named Zoe, working as a Ski Champion for Deer Valley and has recently launched a corporate team building and inspiration company called Team Empower Hour!

Owner of Sunlight & Yoga Holistic Wellness Center and Founder and Chief Yoga Officer of the Black Male Yoga Initiative, Changa Bell has dedicated his life to connecting people with their purpose and increasing self-care via holistic health practices. Changa advocates internationally for health equity through workshops, informational videos, retreats, books, private and group consulting to individuals and organizations that seek positive transformation.


What to expect

Each weekend offers over 10,000 acres of untracked powder for skiing and snowboarding, guest chefs, world-class speakers, emerging musical talent, outdoor activities, wellness programming, spa services, and an incredible group of leaders to connect with.

 
 

The official program starts on Friday afternoon at 4PM and ends Sunday afternoon at 4PM. 

Weekend lodging is Friday through Monday morning, with lift tickets provided for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Arrive early to enjoy a day of skiing with your Friday lift ticket before official programming begins. We welcome attendees to stay the extra evening (Sunday) after official programming ends for a relaxed, pay-direct dinner – a leisurely evening in nature – and head home Monday.

Just over an hour's drive from Salt Lake City International Airport, Summit Powder Mountain ("SPM") is a four season, 10,000 acre mountain and ski resort. Our sister company SPM has built lodges, co-working spaces, spa, gym, ski, biking, and hiking trails, chair lifts, art installations, and much more.
